Make decisions with clarity.
Your best people spend most of their week gathering. They were hired to think.
Automated reporting with agentic analysis, assembled from your unified data. Agents read the numbers, find the patterns, and draft the commentary. Your team can do the work you actually pay them for.

The pain you know
The monthly report takes forty hours. The numbers are stale before it lands.
Managers and analysts spend most of their week gathering data and a fraction of it analyzing. They were hired for critical thinking, not robotic tasks. Insights solves these problems - recurring reports that eat forty hours and land three weeks stale, and dashboards that generate more questions than answers.
Export revenue & bookings
A manager opens the accounting tool for last month's revenue, then the CRM for bookings. Two logins, two exports, two formats to line up.
The number lives across systems that don't agree, and the definitions live in the team's heads. No single tool can just hand it over.
Same monthly report. By hand it eats a manager's week and still lands stale. With Insights, they ask and it's done.
What it does
Reporting that assembles itself. Analysis that drafts itself.
Insights does two things that historically required separate teams. It automatically assembles your recurring reports and reads the numbers like an analyst would, so your analyst can do the work an analyst is supposed to do.
The reporting layer pulls from your source systems and produces the artifacts your company needs. Whatever shape the recurring report takes in your business, Insights builds it from real-time data rather than last month's report.
The analysis layer is what most reporting tools don't have. Agents read the numbers, compare them to the baseline, identify anomalies, and draft the narrative commentary. When December margin compresses by three points, the agent doesn't just show the variance. It tells you which customer, which product, which input cost, and what the magnitude looks like against the rolling twelve. The analyst reviews the draft, sharpens the language, ties it to context the agent can't see, and ships it.

The reporting layer assembles. The analysis layer drafts. Your analyst reviews and ships.
Built for the analyst, not around them
Insights is designed so the agent handles the part of the job your analysts don't want to do, while your analysts handle the part that requires judgment. The agentic layer is an apprentice that handles the gathering, compiling, and the first draft.
Your analyst becomes the editor, the interpreter, and the strategist. Same headcount, more depth per person. Companies that empower their workforce this way see materially higher margins and lower turnover.
The workforce-outcome metric we track alongside cycle time and accuracy: analyst hours redirected from gathering to analysis. The number that matters isn't the number of FTEs reduced. It is the depth gained per employee.
The dashboard problem solved
Dashboards make you open them, filter them, and interpret them, which creates more work for employees. Insights flips the workflow. You ask the question; the system gives you the answer. The analyst stops being the dashboard.
The agent pulls the relevant data, compares it to baseline, identifies what's driving the variance, and drafts the answer. Click any citation to see the raw data. The dashboard is still there if you want it; you just don't have to open it to get the answer.
What gets assembled
A few examples by industry to make the shape concrete.
Board pack
Leadership · PE
Monthly performance with variance commentary drafted against plan and the rolling twelve.
Monthly close
Finance
P&L, balance sheet, and cash assembled from live data, with the narrative drafted and figures cited.
Ops dashboard set
Operations
Throughput, utilization, and exception tracking, refreshed continuously instead of rebuilt by hand.
LP / investor pack
PE platforms
Portfolio roll-up across entities, with per-company drivers surfaced and commentary drafted per holding.
Clinic performance
Healthcare · Multi-site
Per-clinic margin and provider productivity, with the underperformers flagged and explained.
On-demand brief
Anyone, in plain English
Ask a question; the Performance Brief Agent drafts the answer from your data and cites the rows.
How it works
Four phases. Same as every Databender engagement.
Audit
2 weeks
Senior diagnostic. We map your existing reports, the systems they pull data from, who reads them, and where the actual bottleneck lies. The Audit report tells you which reports to automate first, what the analysis layer can credibly draft, and what the cycle-time savings will look like.
Implementation
6-10 weeks
Source integrations (or connections to your existing Foundation), report templates, analysis prompts, and evaluations tuned to your specific metrics, the review workflow, and the Performance Brief Agent connected to your unified data. Your analysts shadow the system during weeks five and six; the first real cycle goes out the door on the existing process and the parallel run. By week eight, the parallel run becomes the primary process.
Adopt
2-3 weeks · Included
Your analysts and managers learn the new workflow. The shift isn't technical; it's habit. Analysts move from gathering to reviewing. Managers move from opening dashboards to asking questions. We train both roles, write the playbooks, and name a champion. The Adopt phase is also where the agent commentary gets pressure-tested by the people who'll be reviewing it every cycle.
Run
Ongoing · Monthly run fee
The system runs every cycle. We monitor for quality drift, tune the evaluations as your business changes, add new report types when the team requests them, and handle exceptions when a source system changes shape. Your champions own the day-to-day; we handle the deeper work.
What you own
What you own when we're done
- Report templates and assembly code
- Analysis prompts and evaluations
- Performance Brief Agent prompts and routing
- Source integrations
- Data transformation code
- Review workflow and approval routing
- Monitoring dashboards
- Adoption playbooks per role
- Training materials
- The underlying data layer (if Foundation was part of the deployment)
If you bring this in-house in three years, you have the runbooks to do it. If you switch BI vendors, the underlying assembly code continues to run.
Pricing
Three tiers. Cloud or on-prem at every tier.
Tightly scoped. Add-ons priced transparently for the cases where customers genuinely want more. The Audit determines which tier fits.

Pairing Insights with Foundation or other Databender products? The Platform Bundle lowers setup and Run across your whole stack, and a longer Run term drops the monthly fee further.
Common add-ons
Tight tiers are the headline. Add-on prices are transparent so you know the cost upfront, no negotiation.
| Add-on | Price |
|---|---|
| Additional report template | $3,000 |
| Additional Performance Brief Agent | $7,500 |
| Additional source system | $5,000 |
| Regulatory overlay (reporting gates + audit log) | $10,000 |
| Industry pack template (BoardPack, LP Pack, Clinic Performance, or custom) | $7,500 |
| Custom commentary tuning round | $5,000 |
| Cross-functional dashboard build | $3,500 |
| Additional Adopt week | $3,500 |
| Self-hosted LLM serving (cloud add-on) | $10,000 |
On-prem deployments add roughly $500 to $1,000 a month to Run per tier to cover the added operations of running a self-hosted LLM and eval pipeline on your own infrastructure. You provide the compute; the Run fee covers our operating and tuning work, not hardware.
Insights pairs naturally with Foundation. Foundation is the unified data substrate; Insights is what runs on top. Many engagements scope the two together on a single timeline, which compresses combined delivery to roughly twelve to sixteen weeks instead of running them sequentially. The combined pricing reflects the shared discovery work.
The Audit confirms which tier fits, the final scope, and the deployment shape.
