These terms govern your use of databender.co (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. Use of this site
The Site is provided for informational and business purposes. You agree to use it lawfully and responsibly. You will not:
- Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Site or its security.
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Site by automated means without written permission.
- Use the Site to send spam, malware, or unlawful content.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when submitting forms, assessments, or other content.
2. Intellectual property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, case studies, blog posts, guides, assessments, and code, is owned by Databender or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and share Site content for personal and internal business use, with attribution. Any other use, including reproduction, republication, or commercial distribution, requires written permission. Content delivered as part of a paid engagement is governed by the engagement agreement, which controls ownership of deliverables.
3. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Content is general information, not professional, legal, financial, or technical advice for your specific situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Databender will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site. Total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD $100). Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
4. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services. Databender doesn't control and isn't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Following external links is at your own discretion.
5. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Databender is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these terms will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms take effect when posted, with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
